End of Semester CTF Winter 2026

BYU CSA's Cyber-Kickstart is designed to teach CTF skills to anyone interested in CTFs. The End of Semester CTF is an event designed and run by the Cyber-Kickstart leads to help people get an introduction to a real, time-bound CTF!!

Challenges will be in categories like Reverse Engineering, Cryptography, Web Exploitation, Binary Exploitation, OSINT, and more! We'll have somewhere between 30 and 50 challenges, still in the works

There will be a kickoff Thursday, April 9th at 6pm in CTB 365, and there is a flag for attending! Then, the CTF will run from Thursday, April 9th at 6pm MST to Saturday April 11th at 6pm MST. The awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 that day, and if you want prizes be there in person!

There are $750 in prizes, including hoodies, a keyboard, a portable monitor, a flipper zero, an Arduino kit, and more!

To get started, Login or Create an Account. Feel free to use your "Hacker Handle" in that account name, as you'll use it for real CTFs as well. Don't have one? Now's your chance to come up with one!

Check out the Resources page as well if you're looking for a next stop after trying these challenges!
